Our connection with this unique landscape and its traditions drives us to preserve and promote the heritage and beauty of the Salzkammergut.
Restoration of the Wiesler Chapel
A special project close to our hearts was the restoration of the Wiesler Chapel on the Thoralm. This historic little church, which has been a place of reflection and prayer for generations, was carefully restored in 2023 thanks to a donation from the THORALM Manufactory. We are proud to be able to make a contribution to the preservation of this cultural treasure.

On September 9, 2023, the time had come: with people and animals and accompanied by a brass band, the restored Wiesler Chapel was ceremoniously reopened and consecrated. This special day began with a festive ceremony in which the chapel was honored. The sounds of the brass music echoed across the alpine pasture and created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
A day full of memories
After the chapel was inaugurated, everyone gathered at the Erlbachhütte to celebrate this special occasion. Of course, our THORALM Dry Gin was there. With a glass or two of our gin, we toasted the successful restoration and ended the day in convivial company. It was a day as it should be, up here on the mountain pasture - full of community, tradition and enjoyment. We will all remember this day.
